Administrator/Purchasing Assistant

We are seeking a self-driven and highly motivated Administrator/Purchasing Assistant to join our dynamic, successful IT Network Support company based in Plassey, Limerick.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Working in our purchasing department with daily, weekly and monthly orders
  • Processing and progressing orders
  • Maintaining and reporting on stock levels
  • Dealing with queries, RMA’s and arranging couriers
  • Liaising with suppliers and sourcing products and pricing
  • Generating quotations
  • Updating the purchasing and renewals database
  • Ensuring on-time delivery of products
  • Liaising with other departments within the Company to ensure installation schedules are met
  • General administration duties

The ideal candidate:

  • Will have experience working within a Purchasing or Office/Admin environment, although this is not essential
  • Be competent with using Outlook & Microsoft Office Suite
  • Have a good telephone manner and is a confident communicator
  • Have an excellent ability to work well within teams
  • Be highly organised and efficient
  • Will have some experience with accounts and assist the Accounts Department with month end duties – previous knowledge of Sage 50 or similar an advantage
  • Have some knowledge of working with various software applications e.g. CRM Package or Quotation Package
  • Previous knowledge of IT an advantage

Other information:

  • This is a fixed-term maternity cover contract (6 months minimum), potential of a full-time contract in this department for the right candidate.
  • This is a full-time role (37.5 hours/week), Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30
  • Salary: €K / negotiable and DOE

Technical Dispatch Engineer

Are you a Techie with a passion for IT and problem solving?  If so, we currently have positions available for mainly desk based technical support representatives in Limerick and Dublin.


  • Third level qualification or relevant years of experience
  • Prior experience of Windows Server and Windows OS
  • Experience in Exchange, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP and Firewall configuration required
  • Working knowledge of virtual server environment
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organisational skills are essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enjoy working with others with an ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships
  • Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint and OneDrive knowledge desirable
  • Cisco and Mikrotik qualifications desirable
